- Points 10
- Questions 5
- Time Limit None
Instructions
READ ALL DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY. If you don't understand something READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS AGAIN, then if you still have a question you can email me through Canvas.
The first thing you need to do today is check your heart rate or pulse to see how many times your heart is beating in a minute.
Here's how:
- Place your index and middle finger on one side of your neck right under the jaw bone.
- Press in very slowly until you feel a pulse beat.
- Once you feel the pulse, count how many times you feel it in one minute
- You can also count how many times you feel it in 15 seconds and then multiply that by 4 to calculate how many times it is beating in one minute.
Here is a video in case you need more help:
Once you have found your one minute heart rate go to question #1 and record the number of times your heart beat in one minute.
After you have recorded your heart rate in question #1, complete the entire 10 minute exercise video below.
If you can not keep up with the pace the leaders are setting that's ok. Just make sure you do each activity for the same amount of time as they do even though you may not get as many repetitions completed as they do.
Once you finish the 10 minute workout video check your heart rate again. Record your heart rate in question #2.
Now complete questions 3-5 and then submit the assignment.
