Cell Energy: ATP Synthesis Model

Directions:

1. Complete the Cell energy_ATP.docx Packet - Read the Introduction then follow the step by step procedure to build your ATP molecule, answering all of the questions along the way.

• Color and cut the Cell energy_ATP models.pdf according to the following color scheme:
  • Ribose - Green
  • Adenine - Red
  • H and OH - Blue
  • Phosphoric Acid - Orange or Yellow

3. When finished with the packet, take one of the colored tagboard sheets from the front and write the following:

    1 Ribose + 1 Adenine + 3 Phosphoric Acid + Energy ----->

    Then tape or paste your completed molecules (1 ATP + 4 H2O) below this writing.
