Ch 20-28 Analysis Response (#3)

Choose one of the passages provided from Chapters 20-28 (see handout). 

Prompt: When considering your passage, how do the diction, syntax, and literary devices affect the tone?

• summarize the passage at the beginning of your response
• use specific terminology from your notes when analyzing the diction, syntax, and literary devices.
• underline the term(s) as you use them in your response
• cite specific examples from your selected passage in your analysis

Your response should be approximately a paragraph in length. It will be graded using the same Short Analysis Response rubric (on the board).
