ATP Synthesis Model

Directions:

1. Complete the Cell Energy ATP Packet.docxPacket - Read the Introduction then follow the step by step procedure to build your ATP molecule, answering all of the questions along the way.

• Color and cut the Cell energy_ATP models.pdf according to the following color scheme:
  • Ribose - Green
  • Adenine - Red
  • H and OH - Blue
  • Phosphoric Acid - Orange or Yellow

3. When finished with the packet, take one of the colored tagboard sheets from the front and write the following:

    1 Ribose + 1 Adenine + 3 Phosphoric Acid + Energy ----->

    Then tape or paste your completed molecules (1 ATP + 4 H2O) below this writing.

4. When you've finished the packet, use your completed packet to complete the the following Canvas quiz for points.  You may retake this Canvas quiz if you do not get the full 5 points the first time.
