HTML Coding allows us to alter the color of our Canvas items. Use the HTML Editor tool to insert the proper color from this page:

2. Click on the "HTML Editor" in the upper right hand corner of the text editor page.

3. Copy the following code into the HTML Editor: <div style="background-color: #a9f5a9;"></div>

4. Use the following link (right click and "Open in a New Tab") to identify HTML codes for the colors you'd like to make your background become: http://html-color-codes.info/.

5. When you find the color you want, "copy" the #XXXXXX (6-letter code) and return to the Canvas page tab.

6. Highlight "a9f5a9" and paste the #XXXXXX code into the HTML Editor.

Important: Be sure that you leave the quotation marks on either side of the 6-letter code.

7. Click "Save" in the bottom left corner of the page. You should see a single bar of your chosen color appear.

8. Choose "Edit" in the upper right hand corner

8. Select "Rich Content Editor", put your curser in the color bar, hit enter a few times, and begin typing your desired content into the colored space.
